When People Share Their (Blogging) Talents

Its-Wednesday_thumbI know it’s Wednesday, but I just had to pop on and share what happens when people share their talents!

With insights from BEECH Retreat, Blogging with Amy, and motivation from my friend Dawn at Journeys in Grace, (thank you all!) it only took two days!

Not two full days, but yah, a couple of learning curve hours each day. I know, you’re laughing. Or you will be when you see the Grand Reveal.  But did you notice the ice highlights in my profile pic?  I learned to program back when COBOL was a big deal. (*SEE TIP BELOW)

Pulling back the curtain …

Here’s what I made …

A button and code to grab for your website or blog!

<a href=”http://www.suzaznnebroadhurst.com” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8151/7691676044_e44ba56d57_m.jpg” alt=”WhereLifeMeetsHomeschooling” width=”125″ height=”125″ /></a>

When you copy/paste the code in your widget (on Word Press sites) or in your code-place-thingie (on other kinds of sites) this button will show up on your page.  Smile

*Tip: If you programmed with COBOL and want to feel young, do not look up COBOL nor should you read the next sentence. Wikipedia defines COBOL as “one of the oldest programming languages.”  Nice.  Just when I was feeling all new fangled!

And a side note for family members who are wondering, “Are you still working on your blog?”  Yes.  Yes, I am.  And I’m loving it!  Besides, I can’t clean anything while the plumbers are here, right?  Just don’t take my electricity, please!

Bye for now,

REALITY CHECK:  Feeling pretty good today – even with the anti-youth reminder! And VERY thankful the plumber’s drill has been for the pipes and not my teeth!
