Greatest Journey Discipleship Program

The Greatest Journey

What happens after the shoebox? First, this.

Then to answer the question that got left hanging the last time we met …

Abandoned – NOT!

When I first became a Christian at 20 years old, I wasn’t brought into the pasture of Christ just to be abandoned.

I was nurtured by a college campus group. I was bought a Bible. I was given rides to church. I was taken bowling. I was loved. And I was taught.

(Later I felt repeatedly abandoned, but that’s several other stories – here’s one of them.)

They Aren’t Abandoned Either!

Operation Christmas Child doesn’t abandon the children either.

They offer them an opportunity to take The Greatest Journey, a 12-week discipleship class designed especially for children to lead them to the Shepherd who not only saved them, but wants to care for them all their lives – and beyond!
