Write a Note – Operation Christmas Child Weekly Countdown: 3

 2015 OCC Countdown 3

How many weeks do we have to pack shoeboxes? 3!

Today’s Tip

Write a note, include a pic!

That’s today’s tip – easy, huh?

What Should I Say?

Sometimes words come easily, sometimes they don’t.

What should we say to our shoebox recipient?

Tell them you love them.

We’re sending a shoebox full of goodies, so they should know we love them, right? But sometimes all the time children need to hear the words. Red heart

Tell them about your world.

Where do you live? What does it look like when you walk outside your front door? Sun

Tell them about the people in your life.

Welcome them in a small way into your family.

Do you have family members at home? Or someone you love very much who doesn’t live with you? Tell them! Left hugRight hug

Tell them about your interests.

What do you like to do? Crochet? Knit? Write? Sing? (Don’t worry I won’t link you to my singing. Winking smile ) Note

Tell them about Jesus and His love.

You can say it simply, like this note that Yuri received in her shoebox. Email
