How many weeks do we have to pack shoeboxes?
It’s Collection Week!
Have you been shopping, creating, gathering all year? Or did you pack a box in one shopping swoop? What a gift you are giving a child somewhere in the world!
Do you know where to drop your shoebox off?
If you are near Jacksonville, FL, drop it off at Westside Chapel and say hello!
Looking for a drop-off location closer to home? Enter your zip code here.
Don’t forget to include $7 for shipping, camel-ing and kayaking …
– and elephant-ing, don’t forget the elephants! –
to transport your shoebox gifts to a faraway place somewhere in the world.
Does “somewhere in the world” sound too nebulous?
You can track your box by donating the $7 shipping online. Now that’s technology at its finest!
We usually follow some of our boxes by donating online and printing out the special labels that can be scanned. And the rest of the boxes we leave to follow their followed friends.
No time to put together a box this week?
More techno-brilliance from Samaritan’s Purse! You can still send one via Operation Christmas Child’s online box creation techno doodad. Easy, easy, easy!
Trumpet the Good News
Are you a wearer rather than a shopper? Or a wearer and a shopper?
Pick up an elephant! Elephant t-shirt, that is, for only $7 (as of this printing) and trumpet the Good News in your world!
