Drink Princess Water

Princess Water_Title

Have you noticed the variety of artistic bottles water is coming in these days? An iceberg-shaped one recently caught my attention, as did one shaped like a plastic flask.

What is it about water that needs a fancy bottle? Nothing.

Water is completely content flowing from a rock, a stream, or down a melting slope, into holding areas through pipes, to receptacles finally to our thirsty throats. (Well, not finally, but I think I’ll end the analogy there.  😉 )

Water Being Water

Special Water for Special People

If water itself isn’t the one with the need for pretty, there must be something about our modern-day humanity that says, “Make the ordinary crazy artistic and then I’ll think about drinking it.”

We want our water to be special. Or at least its container.

Well, sorry fancy-bottle manufacturers, I can’t spring for a $4 bottle of water just because it comes in a creative bottle. Well, I could; I just don’t want to.  🙂

Who’s with me?

We want our water to be special. Or at least its container.

Princess Water

But … I still want pretty water. I find myself drinking more water if it’s pretty.  I mean, I am still human.  Winking smile

That’s why I started drinking Princess Water.

Don’t worry, this isn’t a commercial for an expensive form of H2O. Any water will do. Even tap.

[Was that a gasp I heard? Our tap water is really tasty at Cozy Top Cottage, but I know that not every area of the world has good water. Another thing to be thankful for.]

Water for Life

How to Make Princess Water

You only need two ingredients to make Princess Water.

  • Water
  • A Princess Cup

You can use any cup that makes you feel like a princess.

It really IS that easy.

Do you already have a favorite cup, mug or glass?

You can use any cup that makes you feel special.

Use it not only for special drinks, but for ordinary water, too.

Just by the value (you hold) of the receptacle you pour it in, regular water turns into Princess Water.

Saving for a Princess Cup

I can’t tell you how much more water I’ve downed using my Princess Cup. I mean, sipped regally.  😉

Squirreling away birthday money from my mom for years, I saved up for this Armetale set. Then I waited even longer for an amazing sale.

 Princess Water

Real princesses wouldn’t have to wait that long – and you don’t have to either. Use your favorite glass now and keep an eye out for what you’d really like later.

It was in the waiting I learned my value is in who I am, not what I own.

Our value is in who we are in Christ, not what we own.

Princess Coffee

We are gifted with our value. Just like I was gifted with my Princess Cup and with this mug for Princess Coffee.

I have called it my Princess Mug from the very moment, in the wee hours of Christmas morning, that our family friend K gave it to me.

It still says “Princess” in my mind:

Priceless

Maybe that’s what being a princess is all about.  Knowing that we are priceless. To someone. And to Someone.

Although I’m getting glimpses of my pricelessness, I’m so thankful that the price to redeem me from my sins was payable. And that the Only One who could pay it, didRed heart

Maybe that’s what being a princess is all about.  Knowing that we are priceless. To someone. And to Someone.

It’s Your Turn

  • Do you have a cup that makes you feel like a princess?
  • Do you find you take better care of yourself when you see yourself as priceless?
