While my office has been in the works, my crochet hook has been busy, busy, busy. Being my 50th year of birthday-ness, I used my ice highlights as color inspiration for this Silver Festival Shawl.
I was also inspired by the lovely shawls our crochet along group made back in March. For some reason, I didn’t make a shawl that month. So when my hook needed a little challenge later in the spring, I got started on this little lovely.
It took me several months of on-again-off-again work, but here she is!
Although it’s quite lightweight, summers here are atrociously hot and humid. I couldn’t wait for cooler weather to wear it, so I draped it around my shoulders for a movie and dinner night.
I felt so glam wrapped in this shawl in the theater, pondering the deep thoughts of “Finding Dory” with my husband. High class fish watching, that was.
