Learn to Crochet: Simple Supplies List

To make it super-easy, I’ll just share my favorite basic supplies.

  • Size H aluminum hook by Boye (usually around $2)
  • Red Heart Super Saver yarn (usually less than $3 a skein)
  • Scissors, which you probably already have on hand

Yep, that’s it!  You can begin crocheting for around $5!  Not bad for a new hobby, ehSmile

TIP: When you get comfortable with the basics (and your interest  blossoms on the way to a hobby – or maybe even a fancy!) then branch out with different sized hooks and a variety of yarns.

The world is your crocheted-oyster!
